Ending 2008

I'm so excited about New Year's! We're leaving tomorrow and heading to B'ham with a group of friends. Girls get a spa/shopping day while the guys are planning a full days worth of golf. I need this. Work has been extremely stressful this holiday "break" and quite honestly, I'm ready for a nice big glass o' wine topped off with a swedish massage. My parents are coming to take care of Tanner (which is the first time I've left him overnight. I already miss him.)And so I can actually enjoy my wine w/o having to worry about breastfeeding and timing it just perfectly as not to effect the little guy.

I'm thinking that 2009 is going to be a great year! I must admit, I'm wishing the last few days of this year away only b/c of this economy and crappy market conditions. I have high hopes and great expectations. I guess without that I'd probably have been out long ago.

At any rate, regardless of what's going on with my job or in this country, this is what I have to come home to...

...how could I complain about anything?

(incase you're wondering, tanner is not in a straightjacket. this is his 'woombie.' kinda like a swaddler.)
